Quotations Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking to add a Quotation Specialist to our Customer Service Department, where you will be developing new and nurturing long time relationships with territory reps, agencies, customers, and inside staff. In addition, you will be creating accurate bills of materials based on simple to complex quotation requests.

Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Work with Ledra Brands representative in the process of generating bid packages and securing orders for both specified and discretionary job business.
  • Review and analyze plans, specifications, and bills of material for preparing quotations for commercial projections.
  • Handle bid-package workload in an expeditious manner to meet required bid-date deadlines.
  • Respond to all technical inquires via all media channels: e.g., telephone, email, and/or web as directed by management.
  • Ensure the timely response to pre-sale caller questions of a technical nature; these questions may come from field sales, distributors, homeowners, contractors, specifier, architects etc.
  • Help to specify products, including answering questions concerning installation or use according to individual customer needs and communicating customer needs to other functions within the organization when needed.
  • Work with sales team on new job opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Applicant must have a minimum of (3) years of customer service / quotations related experience.
  • Background in the lighting manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills necessary, with experience with SAP and/or NetSuite for order entry is a PLUS.
  • Self-motivated and possess a desire to learn and understand technical products.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, have organizational skills and time management skills.
  • Ability to problem solve by utilizing information that has been gathered from previous similar job issues.

Customer Service Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking to add a Customer Service Specialist to our Customer Service Department, where you will be developing new and nurturing long time relationships with territory reps, agencies, customers, and inside staff. In addition, you will be order processing simple to very complex orders and communicating via phone/email. Lastly, ensuring that all duties and tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure our customers receive excellent customer service.
  • Process orders, provide product availability and order status (ESD) via phone and email.
  • Provide tracking information and issue Returned Material Authorizations (RMA).
  • Assist customers with all post sales inquiries and questions, in a timely manner.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team player that is highly motivated and can work independently, detailed oriented, organized and efficient.
  • Excellent technical capabilities to include MS Office (Word and Excel).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn new product information and seize opportunities to expand your job knowledge.
  • Strong Customer Service experience. Minimum of 3 years’ experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite software is a PLUS!

Technician

About Us

Responsibilities

  • Assemble luminaires based on mechanical drawings.
  • Operate machining tools, such as mils, CNC, lathe, drill press, Band saw, press brake, and various other tools.
  • fabricate parts using 3D printers.
  • Post process 3D printed parts, including sanding, polishing, and painting.
  • Perform periodic maintenance on machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing machinery and tools.
  • Assist engineers in prototyping parts, and fabricating/modifying parts for production orders.
  • Assist engineering in conceptualizing and designing parts and apparatus by different fabrication methods.
  • Assist Assembly Dept. with reworking material and helping with various programming and testing of production material.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Experience in operating power tools such as, band saw, drill press, grinder
  • Experience in utilizing 3D printers is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Experience in operating machining tools such as mils, lathe, and CNC is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawing, wiring schematic, service manuals and various technical documents.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery.
  • Understands different types of fabrication methods, including Injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, Aluminum casting, and machining.
  • Ability to use electrical/electronic test instruments such as Multimeter, thermometer, etc...
  • Is a Team player
  • Eager to learn new skills.

Administrative Assistant

Job Description

The Administrative Assistant will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization.

As we are growing significantly, we are looking to add to our team the right candidate for the position of Customer Service. You will be developing new and nurturing long time relationships with territory Rep agencies, customers and inside staff. The job also entails Order Entry, from simple to very complex orders for our 2 major brands. You will report directly to the Customer Service Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
  • Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
  • Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
  • Daily Checking of Sales Orders and release to production
  • Attach Bill of lading to the order and removing its payment holds
  • Ordering office supplies, toiletry supplies, coffee, food for meetings
  • Scanning and verifying orders from the day before into NetSuite
  • Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
  • Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
  • Performs other duties.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite, or related software.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience
